Description

In order to continue the momentum created by the active network of engineering and design educators (established by both the engCETL and the HEA Engineering Subject Centre) the Centre for Engineering and Design Education has introduced the Engineering and Design Educators Network (EDEN) Seminar Series.

Focusing on learning and teaching issues from an engineering and design perspective, EDEN is intended to provide practitioners with the opportunity to share and develop good practice. Over the course of the year, the first series of EDEN Seminars will primarily address topics requested by Loughborough University’s engineering and design schools, with expert speakers drawn from the Centre’s extensive network of contacts, both internal and external. Summaries of the seminars held so far can be accessed from the links below.

Seminars

1st EDEN seminar, "Collaborative Learning, Assessment and Feedback"

2nd EDEN seminar, “Digital Video Reporting to Inspire and Engage Students”

3rd EDEN seminar, "Enhancing Employability via Student-led Projects Workshop"

4th EDEN seminar, "Curriculum enhancement and innovation – a showcase of HE STEM supported activity at Loughborough"
