Description

A workshop for Engineering and Design Educators was held on 11th June 2012 by the Centre for Engineering and Design Education at Loughborough University as part of the Centre’s EDEN (Engineering and Design Educators Network) seminar series and funded by the HE Academy. Focusing on learning and teaching issues from an engineering and design perspective, EDEN is intended to provide practitioners with the opportunity to share and develop good practice.

Sixteen projects have been funded at Loughborough University by the National HE STEM Programme, with Loughborough collaborating in a further 14 projects with other institutions. This event showcased just some the projects that Loughborough is involved with. For a summary of each of the speakers/chairs projects please see the attached Overview of projects document.

During the close of the session, participants were invited to join the EDEN mailing list
